Second Street Brewery in the Railyard
The Irish Benders play from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the brewery at the Railyard on Saturday March 16th. Then on Sunday, March 17th enjoy the music of The Free Range Ramblers by Loren Bienvenu. The string band is joined by special guests for a night of St. Patrick's day merriment. 5-8 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. Address: 1607 Paseo de Peralta.
Irish Whiskey Tasting at Susan's Wine Shop
On Saturday, March 16th Susan's Wine Shop offer s three one-hour seated seminars featuring six of their Irish Whiskies. There are three seatings by reservation only. The options for seatings are 12:30-1:30, 2:00-3:00 and 3:30-4:30. There are places for sixteen tasters at each seating and the charge is $15 for the seminar. Of that, $10 can be used towards a purchase that day in the store (some restrictions apply, of course) and as an incentive all of their Irish Whiskies will be on sale! To reserve a place at one of the seatings, go by the store to purchase a ticket ahead of time. They are requiring cash or check in payment—no credit cards or debit cards. Belisma Irish Dancers at the Lensic
The performance features live music, and Regional Championship and Top Ten World Finalist Irish dancers from Santa Fe and Los Alamos. Also starring Michael Patrick Gallagher, former World Champion and lead of Riverdance. Gallagher’s updated work for Belisama, ‘Donegal Slip’ revisits a choice piece of new-traditional Irish dance set to Beoga’s melodic accordion and triangle sounds. Gerry Carthy at Santa Fe University School of Art & Design
Santa Fe University's School of Art and Design - Contemporary Music Department will present contributing faculty member Gerry Carthy in concert on St. Patrick’s Day, Sunday, March 17th, from 3 to 5 p.m. on the SFUAD campus. High Desert Harps
On Saturday, March 16th and Sunday, March 17th High Desert Harps will play Irish music at two locations. On Saturday they will be playing at the David Richard Gallery on S.
