Hattiesburg's newest family attraction is Kids Rule! Family Fun Center, located in the Newpointe Shopping Center on Hwy 98 West. Kids Rule!, which opened this summer, is a locally owned business. Larry and Lyneal Knight are the owners.
Kids Rule! offers a cool place for kids to burn off energy in a safe and fun environment. Even mom and dad can relax in the Parent Lounge, which features a flat screen TV and free Wi-fi, while trained staff keep an eye on the kids. There is also seating in the jump area for parents, and parents are urged to get in on the fun with the kids.
The main attraction at Kids Rule! is, of course, the inflatables. When you pay your admission, kids have an unlimited amount of time to jump and play to their heart's content. There are inflatable jumps, slides, and an obstacle course. The Helix Slide 2 is a big hit with kids: It features a climb up to the top and then two large slides to choose from for a fast and fun trip back down.
Kids Rule! also has an arcade area, a toddler room featuring a small fun jump, and a snack bar. The snack bar offers pizza, nachos, hot dogs, sodas, juice boxes, and more. According to owner Larry Knight, some healthier options are also coming soon to the snack bar.
Party Time!
Two large rooms are available for birthday parties, complete with a large "bouncy" throne for the birthday boy or girl. Birthday party packages are available starting at $150. This includes unlimited jump time and 2 hours in the party room. See their website or stop by and pick up a brochure for more information on party packages.
Admission to Kids Rule! for kids ages 4 and up is $8; ages 1 to 3 are $5; and adults and infants under 1 year are free.
Useful Info:
Socks must be worn to play on any of the inflatables. But of you forget yours, no worries: They can be purchased at the front desk for $1.
A waiver form must also be on file for each child. You can do this at the front desk or, to save time, print one out from their website, fill it out, and bring it with you.

Monday through Thursday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM (Changing soon for Fall: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Friday and Saturday: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Sunday: 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM
