If you are ready to have a great time and really enjoy what Cinco De Mayo has to offer, then these picks will have you dancing in the streets. Starting with the spectacular Rosalita's Cantina Tex Mex Restaurant street party downtown. They have shut down the block, and today through Monday, May 5th, you can get some great margaritas, tequilas and beer from 11 a.m. to midnight. Rosalita's is located at !235 Washington Ave., in the swanky Washington Loft District.
Nearby Kendricks Barbeque has set up smoking the finest meats in St. Louis. And the bustling Washington Ave. Post coffee house, printing, and grocer, has Cinco De Mayo specials going on also; 160z Corona Extra for $1 and 16 0z Margaritas, all flavors, for just $4
If downtown is just a little to inconvenient for you, then you might want to go west. Red Birds Cafe, 9085 Dunn Rd. St. Louis, MO (Hazelwood), is celebrating Cinco De Mayo Saturday and Sunday, May 3rd and 4th, with a huge tent event. There is no cover until noon, then you will have to pay $6 to enjoy their lofty entertainment and of course there is plenty of Tequila and margaritas to go around.
Saturday's line up; Steve Ewing Band, The Main Event Band, El Scorcho featuring members of CAvo; Casey Walker & Chris Hobbs, and The Wyld Stallyns complete this day of festivities. Sunday's line up; Borderline, The Main Event Band again, and Plastic. Click here to go to their website.
Make sure if you got to truly get splashy with the cocktails, and Tequilas, you better get a designated driver. Be safe this weekend.
