Christmas fun comes to life with Home for the Holidays from 5 to 9 p.m., Saturday December 19, 2009 at JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix. Be sure to bring your gift for the 'Packages from Home' program for the US Military on active duty around the world.

Home for the Holidays festivities include photos with Santa, luminary walks with the Dickens Carolers, s'mores in the garden, the Lazy River duck race, and children's holiday movies.

You'll also want to visit the resort's gingerbread village, created by the JW Marriott Desert Ridge National Pastry Team champions.

The festivities continue with complimentary gift wrapping, writing letters to Santa, and enjoying holiday crafts with the Nickelodeon team. For the adults, luxuriate with a Revive Spa chair massage, accept the challenge in the putting contest, and enjoy holiday food tastings at the culinary stations.

The Home for the Holidays event at JW Marriott Desert Ridge is free and open to the public.
