Come help the Capote Family at Blind Willie's, February 12, 2012

Two years ago in  this column, I told you about The Breeze Kings' front man Carlos Capote and his need for a kidney transplant.

Well, Carlos is finally getting his transplant on February 2nd! And not only that, but his amazing wife Terri is going to donate a kidney, not to Carlos directly, but through a wonderful "Pay It Forward" program. See the video below for more about the program.

The Capotes have two beautiful children, and their family needs your help. And when you help them, you get something wonderful, too! For a $25 dollar donation at the door at Blind Willie's on Sunday, February 12, you get incredible music! Look at this lineup!

And there may well be more! It seems every blues musician in Atlanta wants to be part of helping out the Capote family. Carlos and The Breeze Kings have been giving us great music and good times for 15 years; let's see if we can all get together, have a great day full of fantastic music, and give back to him and to his family!
