There isn’t much better in this world than a rock show that is an all out assault on your auditory senses. You know the kind, when the show is over your ears are ringing, your head is pounding and you can’t stop hearing the songs in your head for days. Well you are in luck because this Friday night one of those shows will be taking place at Vinyl.
Atlanta’s own Dirty Souls are making a name for themselves with their nasty guitar driven rock and roll music. Their sound harkens back to a simpler time when folks made music with instruments and not computers. Chunky rhythms and blistering guitars pave the road for soulful vocals as they deliver tunes that sound oh so familiar while keeping it fresh and original. Their debut EP, We’re Called The Dirty Souls, will hook you and when you see them live you will like them even more. High octane rock tunes is their business, and right now business is damn good for the Dirty Souls.
Knoxville’s The Black Cadillacs will close the night out with a set list full of tunes from their two albums. Music that is an equal mix of rock, country and southern soul, their live shows are wide open. They hit the stage running and don’t slow down until their done, dragging the crowd along with them. Playing loud and hard is the only way they know which in my book is a good thing. If you have not seen these guys live, do yourself a favor and check them out.
Kicking the evening off is Vinyl Thief. This Nashville band delivers fast paced electro-rock music. Don’t expect 80’s dance pop, these dudes are all rock. Their live shows are legendary throughout the Southeast so get there on time so you don’t miss out on what they have to offer.
There you go, a night of rock music that will send you to bed satisfied. Music will be bouncing off the walls and into your ear holes at Vinyl. Get out of the house and make your way down to the show you can thank me later.
