Come celebrate Earth Day San Francisco 2013

Every year we celebrate Earth Day, the anniversary of the birth of the environmental movement started by Senator Gaylord Nelson in the 1970s and the formation of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

We are thrilled to announce that Earth Day San Francisco (EDSF) will take place on Saturday April 20 at the Civic Center Plaza form 10 am to 6 pm. The festival is expected to draw about 15,000 people.

This is a fun and educational Green day for you and your entire family to enjoy.
The festival is designed to bring together leading members of the green/sustainability activist movement to co-create a vision of how to address environmental issues we face.

Prominent Green educators, speakers, nonprofit organizations, businesses, indigenous community leaders, civic agencies, musicians, and youth groups will be part of this event.

Activities range from Eco Village, Earth Day For Kids, Organic Chef Demos, Organic Food Vendors, Holistic Health Zone, Eco Fashion Show, DYI Exhibits, Deep Green Pavillion,Artist Grove and so much more.

EDSF is dedicated to providing the tools and inspiration to bring together our community.

The goal is to educate the public on Green and Earth-friendly solutions and to empower the sustainability movement to grow worldwide.
