This weekend two churches in the Inland Empire will celebrate in two distinct variations of worship.
The more traditional service for classic concert goers and baby boomers, is Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Chino Hills, Ca. http://www.sptacc.org Communion is presented each service and the word is read verbatim by the resident priest. Mass schedules including a 5PM Teens (preferred) Service are available along with a color copy of the bulletin and a list of important numbers.
For those who "think beyond the box" there is the NewLife Community Church of Pomona with Senior Pastor Craig Lawrence http://www.newlifepomona.org The Easter service times are 9:00AM and 11:30AM. Leah Surrell, the Children's Ministry Leader, will present the Children's department in song at both services.
The bands reflect those of popular groups on the radio with the exception of the wording which in respect, accentuate and reflect the bible. Whether it's the New International Version, the King James or the New American Standard version, the message is the same. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
Please join us in celebrating the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
