This Frriday, April 6th, 2012, NewLife Pomona, will hold its 8th annual Crosswalk that features carrying the cross through the community to signify the hardship Christ faced prior to His crucifiction.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16; KJV).

The Crosswalk begins at the NewLife Church at 275 E. Foothill Bl., Pomona, Ca., 91767. Arrive at 4PM with ample parking available. The public is welcome.

The walk starts promptly at 4:15PM with the following itineray - westbound on Foothill Boulevard, southbound on Garey Avenue and eastbound on Arrow Highway. Palomares Park is the destination where the Youth Pastor, Reid Powell, his wife Jenn and their first-born son Jair David Powell (born 03/07/2012) will officiate the worship and prayer segments.

"See how great a love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God and such we are. For this reason, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him (I John 3:1 NAS)."
