Comcast to replace programming from GolTV with programming from beIN Sport

Comcast Cablevision of Mobile had plans to stop transmitting programming from GolTV through their cable TV system on Tuesday, January 22nd and begin transmitting programming from beIN Sport on the same day, according to a message they sent to their cable TV customers through a recent "Local on the 8s" segment for the Weather Channel. The programming from beIN Sport would be taking the place of the programming from GolTV on Comcast cable channel 729 and be a part of the Sports Entertainment Pack, a group of programming services priced separately from other programming packages offered by Comcast Cablevision of Mobile (see channel list for Comcast Cablevision of Mobile for more information about their programming packages).

BeIN Sport would provide programs about soccer just as GolTV did, except they would provide programs about other sports in addition to soccer. You may learn about the other sports beIN Sport would provide by visiting their official World Wide Web site.
