Comcast to change how their TV Guide Network programming is provided locally

According to a public notice sent to customers of the cable TV system operated by Comcast Cablevision of Mobile during the month of December in 2013, they may lose access to programming from the TV Guide Network through the system by Tuesday, January 28th, if they only receive Limited Basic cable TV service through the system by then due to a plan within the Comcast Corporation to move the programming from the system's Limited Basic programming group to its Digital Starter and Digital Economy programming groups (Digital Starter service includes all of the programming in the Limited Basic programming group). The notice also referred to a plan for the system to stop providing a guide to some of its programming on the same channel it uses for providing programming from the TV Guide Network by this Tuesday (update for Friday, January 31st: the system stopped providing the guide on the morning of Wednesday, January 29th).
