Comcast Sportsnet to offer World Cup coverage with local soccer stars

Today, Comcast SportsNet, home of the New England Revolution broadcasts, announced that the network will provide nightly FIFA World Cup Brazil coverage, “Cup Reports,” with analysis from local soccer experts. The Cup Reports begin on Wednesday, June 11th and continue throughout the entire competition.

Comcast SportsNet’s Cup Reports will be featured in the nightly news show Chevrolet SportsNet Central and will include opinion from Kristine Lilly, Revs GM and two-time U.S. World Cup team member Mike Burns, and Revolution players Chris Tierney, Darrius Barnes, and A.J. Soares. The local soccer experts will recap the day's games and preview upcoming match-ups.

CSNNE.com, the online home of Comcast SportsNet, will offer online Cup Reports and real-time news on a dedicated World Cup page.
