Comcast in Mobile to stop providing SOAPnet's programming before it ends

According to a public notice from the Comcast Corporation sent to customers of their subsidiary Comcast Cablevision of Mobile during the month of November, the subsidiary was set to stop providing programming from SOAPnet through their cable TV system in Mobile County this Thursday, December 19th. By then, SOAPnet would continue to broadcast their programming for other providers of their programming before shutting down on Tuesday, December 31st (according to an official programming schedule for SOAPnet on the World Wide Web site SOAPNet Medianet, they had planned to stop broadcasting by 11:00 p.m. (Central time) that day).

(update for December 19th: Comcast Cablevision of Mobile replaced SOAPnet's programming with programming from a new national cable TV and satellite TV programming service called El Rey by the morning of December 19th)
