Comcast in Mobile to make WE tv programming available to more customers

According to a public statement from the Comcast Corporation that was sent their customers in Mobile County during the month of February along with billing information, Comcast Cablevision of Mobile (a local subsidiary of the corporation) was set begin providing standard-definition programming from WE tv to customers on the level of Digital Starter cable TV service on Thursday, March 28th or soon after. Comcast Cablevision of Mobile would also provide high-definition programming from WE tv to customers on the level of Digital Starter cable TV service on the same date or soon after.

Before the public statement was issued, Comcast Cablevision of Mobile provided standard-definition programming and high-definition programming from WE tv only to customers on the level of Digital Preferred cable TV service. The only programs from WE tv that Comcast Cablevision of Mobile provided to customers on the level of Digital Starter cable TV service were certain programs provided through their Xfinity on Demand service.

According to the public statement, Comcast Cablevision of Mobile would continue to provide standard-definition programming from WE tv on cable TV channel 271 and high-definition programming from WE tv on cable TV channel 1308 after Digital Starter customers gain access to either form of programming.
