Combi car seat recall

See also

Combi USA has issued a voluntary recall of some of their child restraints, stating they do not comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 213, Child Restraint Systems. This recall affects the Zeus Turn (model 8815), Zeus 360 (model 8836), and Coccoro (model 8820) car seats.

The manufacturer states the specific issue is with the webbing used on the plastic harness which, in conjunction with a plastic button, keeps the buckle tongues from sliding into the recesses of the restraint. Upon testing the webbing, it failed to meet the minimum strength requirements set forth in the federal safety standard. This failure could potentially affect the overall performance of the car seats when involved in a auto accident, though the company has received no reports of any injuries at this time.

Contact Combi's recall information line (1-844-697-1690) to request a free remedy kit or visit for additional information.
