Shocking news came out tonight that Columbus Short was fired from "Scandal." He will not be back for season four, but the thing is season four isn't even official yet. On Friday, TV Line shared a statement from Columbus that he will not be coming back again.

His statement just confirms that he is exiting the show. He said that he has loved being on the show and thanked Shonda Rhimes. Hollywood Life shared that he was actually fired from the series and it all happened after some real life drama went down. He made headlines for a domestic that he got into with his wife. Short was charged with battery after an attack on his wife where he allegedly threatened to kill her and himself.

Since this domestic happened, Columbus Short's wife actually filed for divorce. The fight was pretty bad and she claims that he poured wine on her threatening to hit her with the bottle. She also went on to say he threatened to stab her with a knife during the altercation.

At this time, "Scandal" hasn't even been officially renewed for season four. Fans are pretty certain it will come back but they are still waiting on ABC to make the announcement. On Thursday, IB Times shared about how it is still not official but you can assume it will come back again.

Season three of "Scandal" ended with a big cliffhanger. Columbus Short's character Harrison was being held at gunpoint. It was unknown if he would survive or not. You can easily assume that he will not be surviving this attack and that is how they will get rid of his character.

Hopefully ABC will announce soon if "Scandal" is coming back again. Fans want to see more about Olivia Pope with or without Harrison. The show will go on just fine without Columbus Short, but you know he will be missed by fans.
