Columbus Short arrested over Fourth of July for public intoxication

The news is out that Columbus Short was arrested over the Fourth of July for public intoxication. This actor from the show "Scandal" can't keep his act together and he is now in trouble again. On Saturday, New York Daily News shared the report about his arrest and what landed him behind jail this time.

This all went down in Dallas when he got in trouble for a bar tab that wasn't paid. It happened at a local bar. Reports are that he was at Katy Trail Ice House in Dallas and decided to leave without paying the bill. This is when the argument started and of course things went downhill from there for him.

Sources say that a security guard confronted him about not paying for the bill. Columbus Short called the guy racist and got really upset. It sounds like the guy was just trying to get him to pay the bill that he owed them for his drinks throughout the night. There were a few off duty police officers there as well who got involved and Short even tried to fight with them.

Columbus Short was arrested and the only charge was public intoxication. It could have been a loss worse considering he didn't pay a bill and was fighting with off duty police officers. Short is lucky that he only got one charge on him. So far he is not speaking out and neither is his rep.

Just Jared shared that Short had been at the bar for four hours so obviously his tab wasn't small. This is his second bar fight this year. Columbus Short was also picked up for domestic violence twice earlier this year. He will not be returning to "Scandal" when the show comes back in the fall. At some point, hopefully he will get his act together and can get back to working again. Fans would love to see him on the small screen again.
