A Canton area man facing a felony child endangering charge because authorities say he tattooed tattooed the letter "A" on the bottom end of a 1-year-old girl visiting his home. There was no explanation why the letter "A" was used. There's even less of an explanation for inking up a baby.

Clarett wants out early

He helped the Buckeyes win the 2002 National Championship. Then the former Ohio State running back Maurice Clarett's life spun wildly out of control. He landed in prison with a 7 1/2 -year sentence for aggravated-robbery and gun convictions. Now after serving half the time as a "model" prisoner, he's asking for early release. On the inside, Mo has been taking college courses and has led health and fitness programs for older inmates.

Prized recruit could still become a Buckeye

Blue-chip offensive lineman Seantrel Henderson said last week he was going to USC but didn't sign anything. He's waiting to see what kind of sanctions will be levied againt USC in the Reggie Bush and O.J. Mayo investigations.
