Saturday July 9th, 2011 will find the parking lot by Surly Girl Saloon jumping. From 2pm until 11pm, the Columbus Music Co-Op's Here Comes Your Weekend 6th Annual Parking Lot Blowout will be filling the Short North with music. The event will be benefiting the CMC's Columbus Musican's Assitance Program and the Children's Youth Music Committee through sales of Pabst Blue Ribbon and cocktails.
The Columbus Musician's Assistance Program, also known as CMAP, is a program that assists working musician's without health insurance to pay they're medical bills is they are in need.
The line-up this year features some acts that are making a name for themselves lately. Bands include Ugly Stick, the Mooncussers, Blastronuats, and the Pinkertones and several others.
