This year's Red White & BOOM! celebration is just two weeks away. As the big night approaches and the excitement builds, the most common questions about the event are being asked again.

When is Red White & BOOM!?

BOOM 2009 will be held on July 3, 2009. The grounds will open at 10:00 A.M. and admission is free.

Where is the parking for Red White & BOOM!?

Most people park in the downtown garage that was once attached to City Center, although this garage usually sells out fairly quickly. There is a website devoted to finding event parking in the Arena District which can be used to pay for parking in advance.

Can I take a COTA bus to Red White & BOOM!?

Yes! And you are encouraged to do so. Leave your car at one of COTA's various Park & Rides and hitch a ride downtown within just a few minutes. Call COTA at (614) 228-1776 for more information.

What time are the fireworks?

The 27 minute display will start at 10:00 P.M.

There are various other things to remember when visiting Red White & BOOM! For instance, there is limited grass and picnic space available, so it's a good idea to arrive early if you desire a place on the lawn. Stay comfortable and hydrated by wearing comfortable shoes and drinking plenty of water.
