Covenant Christian School is hosting a large community yard sale at 3120 Covenant Road in Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon. With donations from many families, there are sure to be fashion finds for everyone.
Cedar Cove neighborhood near Lake Murray at 3 Dog Road off Hwy, 76 is having a multi-family yard sale on Saturday from 7 a.m. until noon. It’s sure to be well worth stopping by to look for finds and deals.
If you’re interested in clothes, be sure to visit by 200 Delchester Drive in Elgin on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. You’re sure to find a nice selection of clothing and more.
For personal items and clothing, check out a yard sale at 2439 Cardington Drive in southeast Columbia on Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon. There promises to be both new and used items.
A fourteen home yard sale in Chapin/Ballentine near Lake Murray promises to have many, many items and a huge selection. There are sure to be fashion finds galore! Stop by 1475 Johnson Marina Road on Saturday between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Columbia sales are most likely to be on Saturday and early morning is the best time to go before everything is picked over. Be sure to carry cash, preferably in small denominations. Most people cannot accept debit or credit cards, and many will not take personal checks. If you’re going with a friend, share the ride, since parking near sales is often limited. It's always a good idea to bring your own large totes or shopping bags, since they are often not available.
The yard sale season is just beginning and will continue to be active through October. Listings will continue to appear through the close of the South Carolina State Fair in the fall.
