Columbia University tops 2011 Trojan Sexual Health Report Card rankings

This morning Trojan Condoms released its 2011 Sexual Health Report Card, an annual survey of on-campus sexual health services at 140 U.S. colleges conducted by Trojan Condoms and Sperling's BestPlaces. The Top 20 rankings are based on factors including HIV testing, STD testing, sexual awareness programs, availability of contraceptives and condoms, availability of anonymous advice, peer groups, outreach programs, sexual assault programs, health center hours, appointment flexibility, and website usability. Columbia University came out on top for the second year in a row, sharing the podium with University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Princeton University.

"Columbia's focus on sexual health is a clear priority on-campus, supported whole-heartedly by the students, faculty and administration," said Bert Sperling, president of Sperling's BestPlaces, in a news release this morning. "The renowned 'Go Ask Alice!' website, coupled with more than 15 student health groups makes it no surprise that the university consistently tops the rankings."
