The Colts are picking up where they left off last season as they battle for a playoff position, while the Texans are desperate for a win. If things keep going down hill for Houston they will be looking at a meaningless schedule in December.
On paper this looks like an easy win for Indy, but nothing ever comes that easy in the NFL!
According to Sportsline on Nov 3, the Colts will be a bit short-handed for this game vs. Houston and for the rest of the season following the loss of their number one receiver Reggie Wayne.
Wayne’s injury takes away Andrew Luck’s top weapon on offense, but don’t let that fool you as Indianapolis has become one of the best teams at making adjustments over the past two seasons.
Indy can run the ball with the best of them and will look to pound the rock vs. the Texans.
After a promising start of 2-0, Houston has lost 5 in a row and have looked very erratic in doing so.
With hometown back-up QB Case Keenum scheduled to make his second straight start, the Texans will try to get back in the AFC playoff race tonight.
Vegas odds makers have Indy as a 1.5 point favorite with the over/under number set at 42.
Prediction: Somehow the Texans get the win tonight vs. the Colts. Indy gives up big chunks of yards on the ground and if the Texans can run the ball it will open up the passing game. Fresh off of a bye-week, Houston gets it done! The game kicks off tonight at 8:20 p.m. EST and can be seen on NBC.
Pick Houston +1.5
