Colts owner Jim Irsay arrested for drugs and DWI, released (videos)

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay was arrested on Sunday, March 16, 2014, and released on Monday, March 17, 2014, on four related DWI charges. According to early charge reports, Jim Irsay, 54, was pulled over after driving under the speed limit and failing to use his turn signals. When police pulled him over, they suspected he was under the influence of a controlled substance. Additionally, Carmel, Indiana police lieutenant Joe Bickel stated that multiple prescription pills were found in Irsay’s vehicle. He faces four, felony counts of possession of a controlled substance.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office updated the media and stated Irsay’s bond was set at $22,500. Irsay is scheduled to appear at the Hamilton County courthouse on March 26, 2014, at 1:15 pm for his initial hearing. You may view a video report about the arrest in the player above.
