Country-rapper and hit-songwriter Colt Ford is gearing to kick off 2013 in Canada with his first international, multi-week tour opening for fellow country star Eric Church on the The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour.
The concert outing will travel coast to coast from Jan. 31 through Feb. 23. Ford will also make his Canadian television debut Friday, Feb. 15, performing on CTV Television Network’s national morning show, "Canada AM," which is broadcast from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. (ET).
“Opening for Eric Church is a huge honor for me,” Ford said via a Jan. 16 correspondence shared with Examiner.com. “I’m excited about the opportunity to be introduced to and connect with the Canadian fans.”
Per the singer's PR camp, fans also will have the ability to meet Ford with special limited edition VIP packages available to ticket holders only. For more details and purchase options, please click here.

Billboard’s Top Country Albums list also included several albums on which Ford co-wrote hit tracks including “Dirt Road Anthem,” featured on Jason Aldean’s "My Kinda Party," Brantley Gilbert’s “Country Must Be Country Wide,” featured on both "Now That’s What I Call Country Music" and on Gilbert’s own album titled "Halfway to Heaven."
