Colt Ford parodies 'Twilight' in 'Chicken and Biscuits' music video

After first listening to the song “Chicken and Biscuits” by Colt Ford anyone can admit that it’s a catchy country song perfect for the summertime. However, it seems Ford has kicked it up a notch with his hilarious music video.

Anyone, Twilight fan or not, can see that he’s poking fun at the premise of the movies with him playing the role of the vampire Edward. In the opening scene he admits to the Bella character that he hungers for her chicken and biscuits.

With a summer of Twilight obsession due to the release of Eclipse movie there’s been an inundation of Twilight references, but it’s refreshing to find a new artist not afraid to poke fun at the hysteria, not to mention himself.

The best part of the video is that people who are not usually fans of country music are watching the music video and as a result may be able to find a new genre of music they’re a fan of.
