It's an exciting time in Colorado State sports, and fans just got a taste of something new.
Incoming junior, Marcus Holt, showed off CSU Men's Basketball's new home Under Armour jersey on Instagram, which was found and tweeted by Matt Stephens of the Fort Collins Coloradoan. The 6'10” forward also shows off the back of his new white jersey on his Twitter profile as the header.
The Rams' new Under Armour jerseys are clean, classic and classy. They have a small collar that goes around the back of the neck in a “U” fashion, stopping in the front where a v-neck finishes the head opening. The jerseys also look to have a simple green stripe down the sides, which would be cleaner than the wide green stripe with multiple gold stripes inside of it last year.
Also, Under Armour smartly kept the classic, curvy “Colorado State” lettering on the front of the jerseys, seemingly scaling it down slightly compared to last year. The lettering, along with the numbers, is dark green with a thin gold outline.
Of course, since this is the only visual evidence we have of the new jerseys, we still don't know what the road, green jerseys will look like. It seems probable they will basically be opposites of these, with white lettering and numbers on a green background. But we'll have to wait and see.
This jersey release, which comes before an official release by the school, is ironically on the same day Colorado State basketball released season ticket information. Fans looking into purchasing season tickets should click here for all of the information.
