Prepare to smile.
On Saturday evening, Colorado State put on a pep rally for their incoming freshmen students; Moby Arena nearly exploded with excitement.
That's because, as part of the fun, new freshman Andrew Schneeweis made a half-court shot to win free tuition for the upcoming school year.
CSU coaches, including Men's basketball head coach Larry Eustachy, will foot the bill for Schneeweis' two semesters of tuition and Eustachy was there on the court to hug the 19-year old Greenwood Village, Colorado native after the make.
Amazing was Schneeweis' confidence; even in front of thousands of peers, he stepped up and knocked it down in one attempt. He was randomly selected from the crowd and looked like he knew what he was doing when tossing the ball nearly 50 feet through the net.
The 2013-14 academic year starts today for Colorado State students, and at least for now, Schneeweis is living on a free ride.
