With Easter on the horizon, many people are thinking Spring and are looking forward to their non-winter sports like golf, biking, swimming, fishing, or other forms of recreation. However, many resorts in Colorado are extending their season.

Aspen/Snowmass closes down its daily operations on April 20th. However, Aspen Mountain will re-open for the weekends of April 26-27 and May 3-4.

Winter Park has extended its season through April 27th. Breckenridge has done the same. Loveland Ski Area will close on May 4th.

At this rate, Arapahoe Basin (A-Basin) which is typically the last ski area to close in Colorado will be open until June 2014 and maybe even longer.

Stay tuned for announcements and extensions from a season and winter that just won't quit.
