Colorado Nordic Ski Snow and Event Report for 3/31-4/6


This weekend is the closing weekend for most centers so get on out there one last time if you can. Some new snow this week is helping conditions hold.




Conditions:


Beaver Creek
Closing this Sunday April 4th!!!!! 32Km of groomed trails now open to snowshoers and skiers. Snowshoe trails are also available at the base of the Mountain House.


Breck/Frisco/Gold Run

Closing April 18th- new snow making great spring skiing, 31Km with snowshoe trails as well.

Possible closing April 3rd in Frisco but call as new snow may keep it open longer, all trails are now open in with spring like skiing reported.

Closing April 4th- 24 km are fully open at Gold Run for classic and skate skiing


Crested Butte


Continued snow is helping conditions. 45km are open and being groomed at the Crested Butte Nordic Center. Great sales on demo and other equipment


Devils' Thumb


100Km plus groomed and open for classic and skate skiing including Lactic Grande. New snow is helping them stay open longer.


Eldora

Closing April 4th with possibility of staying open till April 11th so call for details. 40Km of groomed trails open including Groomed and open trails include: Dixie, the Stadium, Milliron, Beavers Revenge, Twin Twisted Tree, For Pete's Sake, Roller Coaster, Woodcutters, Deadman's Gulch, and Porcupine loop.


Grand Lake

Nordic Center is now closed for the season.




Keystone


Closed for the season.


Leadville

No new info to report


Snow Mountain Ranch


Just and Audun will be closed for the rest of the season, hard pack in morning, slush in afternoons, Closing April 12th


Steamboat Touring

Closing April 4th, 100% (15km) of trails open for skating, classic and snowshoe. Spring conditions but still good coverage.


Tennessee Pass


100% open with 25Km and grooming almost seven days a week. Call for closing status at 719.486.1750.


Vail Nordic

Closing April 4th, 100% open with 17km for skiing and shoeing.
