Here is the first snow and event report for the year of 2010.
The Nordic Center is open for the season with 15Km of groomed trails and open to snowshoers and skiers.
With the help of four inches of new snow over the weekend there are 16Km of skate groomed and set tracked trails and 12Km of snowshoe trails open at Breck.
Lower Frisco Bay Trail has opened at Frisco with two more inches of snow. They have 21Km of snowcat groomed trails and 8Km of snowshoe trails open.
The Gold Run pro shop and wax room are now along with 10 km of groomed trails for classic and skate skiing.
With plenty of new snow, all the trails are open at the Crested Butte Nordic Center.
100Km plus groomed and now open for classic and skate skiing.
40Km of groomed trails open including Groomed and open trails include: Dixie, the Stadium, Milliron, Beavers Revenge, Twin Twisted Tree, For Pete's Sake, Roller Coaster, Woodcutters, Deadman's Gulch, and Porcupine loop.
35Km open for classic and skate.
15Km open for classic and skate as well as the snowshoe trails and tubing hill.
Early season conditions still exist but all the CMC trails and the Mineral Belt are open and groomed.
Snow Mountain Ranch
50-60Km open and groomed with recent new snow.
15km of trails open for skating, classic and snowshoe.
Fully open with 25Km and grooming almost seven days a week.
17km open for skiing and shoeing along with private and group lessons.
