From puppies to children, the environment to education, there are thousands of nonprofits in Colorado that give back every day. Now, it’s the community’s turn to give back by making this coming Tuesday, Dec. 10 the largest single day of online giving in Colorado with Colorado Gives Day.

Presented by Community First Foundation and First Bank, and sponsored in part by Comcast, Colorado Gives Day is an initiative to increase philanthropy in the state, and has taken place during a 24-hour period each winter since 2010.

Getting involved is simple: Just choose an organization (or two!) and donate what you can this coming Tuesday. Donations are accepted through the website Last year, $15.4 million was raised during the 24-hour period and 1,258 participated.
