Colorado’s online giving campaign appears to have pass Minnesota’s Give to the Max Day in November, which raised $17.15 million.
In 2012, Colorado Gives Day brought in $15.7 million. The 2013 tally displays a 30 percent increase over the year before.
The number of nonprofits benefitting from Colorado Gives Day 2013 rose to 1,442 from 1,319. The number of donations climbed to 87,813 from 47,930.
The first Colorado Gives Day occurred in 2010. It brought in $8.4 million.
