The Colorado Dragon Boat Festival is the largest pan-Asian cultural and athletic celebration between Chicago and the West Coast with over 100,000 visitors each year. This year’s Festival will be held on July 28th-29th at Denver’s Sloan Lake (20th and Sheridan Blvd).
The mission of the CDBF is to build bridges of awareness, knowledge and understanding between the diverse Asian Pacific American (APA) communities and the general public and the organization has been doing a good job in this arena since its inception.
Alongside the exciting and colorful dragon boat races, each year festival goers have the chance to shop for Asian arts, toys, clothing and more at the Asian Marketplace as well as enjoy authentic Asian food at the Taste of Asia Food Court.
