Colorado has long been known as the birthplace of some of the Jam scene's most popular bands, including String Cheese Incident, Yonder Mountain String Band, and Leftover Salmon. Now a number of these bands are coming to the same stage for one night only for the Fourmile Canyon Revival, presented by KBCO. The show, which will be held at Broomfield's First Bank Center on Saturday, October 9, will benefit the Boulder Mountain Fire Relief Fund. The Boulder Mountain Fire Relief Fund provides assistance to families affected by the devastating Fourmile Canyon Fire near Boulder, which burned over 6000 acres of land and destroyed 169 homes.
The lineup for the Fourmile Canyon Revival reads like a Who's Who of Colorado jammers, including String Cheese Incident, Big Head Todd & The Monsters, Yonder Mountain String Band, and Vince Herman & Drew Emmitt. The show will also include the members of Phish who, while not being from Colorado, had their first successful tour outside of the Northeast in the area and have maintained close ties to the region.
Tickets for the Fourmile Canyon Revival will go on sale Tuesday, September 21 at 10:00 AM and will be available exclusive through paperless non-transferrable tickets from Tickethorse. The venue is all General Admission and all tickets will be $60. All proceeds from the show will benefit the Boulder Mountain Fire Relief Fund.
