Participants run, jog, or walk through 3.2 miles, passing through several coloring stations to collect sprayed powder paint of various bright tints on their apparel. After completing the course, entries gather to toss remaining paint packets in the air – on upon one another.
Part of the proceeds from the Color Vibe in Milwaukee benefit Feeding America of Eastern Wisconsin.
Each registered participant receives a commemorative Color Vibe event tee shirt and a goody bag containing a powdered paint packet and other bonuses.
The Color Vibe series is one of several high-energy fun runs occurring coast to coast in the United States and featuring peppy music, plenty of powdered paint, and lively after-parties. Spectators are welcome and encouraged, but warned that they might be painted as well.
