Dale Thomas was, of course, a part of the legendary Cornell College 1947. His photo on the wall of the Cornell ahrletic Hall of Fame is a classic post-war wrestler's pose.

I was lucky enough to meet Dave Icenhower and Ned McGinley in Cedar Rapids last spring.

Jim, Thanks for your response. For those who want to know more about Dale Thomas as a Cornell College wrestler, check out Arno Niemand's soon-to-be-released book "Dream Team" about the 1947 Cornell team that won the 1947 NCAA team title. It's an incredible read!
Neat that you met Icenhower and McGinley. I interviewed Coach Icenhower on the phone early in my days at InterMat, and found him to be a very gracious individual. -- Mark
