Coming off their second straight Southern Conference loss, College of Charleston Cougars Men's Basketball team look to get back to their winning ways as they travel to Georgia Southern University.
The Cougars look to repeat their December 3 performance where they were led by Georgia's own Andrew Goudelock for the win. Sparked by a key Goudelock 3-pointer with 11:34 to go, to overcome a 28-25 halftime deficit to rout the Eagles 68-59.
Despite riding a two game losing streak, CofC has yet to lose three games straight, and by leaning on the reigning SoCon player of the week Andrew Goudelock once again, Cougar fans won't see them falling for a third straight.
Out to revenge their first SoCon lost, Georgia Southern will look to make it back-to-back wins after gunning down The Citadel 61-58 Thursday night.
The x-factor in the rematch, Tony White Jr. The Cougars' leading scorer only had 8 points in their first match-up, but more importantly he had 8 turnovers to match. Georgia Southern won't be able to count on lighting striking twice as White has drained 55 points over the past two games.
CofC is 8-2 in Southern Conference action with eight games to go and look to win their first SoCon title since 1999.
Go out and support the maroon and white and make the trip to Statesboro, GA, for the 1pm tip off tomorrow at GSU.
