There are different understandings of college. The 21st century combines the intellectual and career meaning of this magic institution which keeps human culture and human civilization not only as existed social identity but also as an advanced social structure.
Any college/university program may need to have a few constructors in order to be successful for every student. First of all it should promote student oriented education. Many traditional teachers still believe that universities and colleges are about them – they produce and reproduce social identity of pay-check individuals with professor chairs who have been trying to show the students that they are emblematic of the college/university. In fact all teachers serve the needs of the students and as better they know their duties as servers as more successful would be the education of the students.
Then, second, the program for successful education needs to be flexible. Every student should be able to avoid specific educational server instructors since there are still teachers with connections who do not match and cannot satisfy the intellectual needs of the 21st century students.
The third possible most important constructor of college success is every student to add unique education to the major program by attending classes which have been not listed in their program for assoc., bachelor or master degree. The 21st century civilization is civilization of unique individuals and creating uniqueness at college/university level is one of the main powers of the human civilization to turn the downward spiral of lumpenization toward upward spiral of reintellectualization of the human civilization not through tablets and iphones but through meaningful empathic culture and art.
As soon as colleges/universities go through the clearance process of egocentric teachers and teach all teachers to think about them as servers of students, as faster and better the young generation will begin to complete not short-term career goals, but will think and work on life-long goals based on valuable heart-born projects about love, family, secure life-long jobs and life-long education in the context of high standards.
