On Sunday, the Top 10+1 submitted the week five ballot for the college football Examiner.com poll. With not many head to head ranked match ups this weekend, there wasn’t much movement in the ballot at all. The majority of teams stayed the same, and that includes the top 10 which remained status quo. From week to week, the most impressive team has been Baylor.
However, the biggest victory during Saturday’s play came out west when Stanford beat up on Arizona State in the first three quarters. The Cardinal gave up 21 points in the fourth quarter to win 42-28. They are a team on the rise.
Only one team got dropped from the ballot and that was the aforementioned Arizona State. They were replaced by Maryland. The Terrapins are slotted at 25 just behind one loss Notre Dame.
