The Internet drama series College Daze marks its 50th episode with a celebration in
Written and directed by Augustan Karlton Clay, the series has gained more than 30,000 online viewers during its four-season run. It was also picked up by local Christian television station WBEK as part of its weekly programming.
The show centers on the lives of a diverse group of college students struggling to balance academic success and social expectations. Clay credits the series’ popularity to the reality of its content. “The audiences relate to the real character portrayals and the real situations that are present in each and every episode. Our motto at Victory Productions is that ‘we present the real while offering the real Christ.’ And College Daze continues to hold true to that,” he says.
College Daze is one of many productions from Clay’s faith-based film, video, and theater company, Victory Productions. Clay believes that the achievement of 50 episodes will be just the golden touch he needs to move into bigger projects. “When we want to pitch other ideas, we have the capability of presenting them with a show that has been around for four seasons and continues to have a successful run.”
The 50th episode celebration will be on Saturday, May 22 at 5 p.m. at
