One day after Syracuse knocked off Pitt with a buzzer beating three, Georgia Tech found their team in the same exact situation against Boston College. Marcus Georges Hunt hit the game winning three with .7 seconds left and drew the foul to give the Yellow Jackets a three point win.
St. John’s also had a heart stopping finish to oust Seton Hall by one point. Chris Obekpa sank the first of two free throws to give the Red Storm the lead with 2.1 seconds left.
The Butler Bulldogs have not been able to get over the hump in the Big East and they let another game get away in the end. Doug McDermott hit the go ahead three with 47.8 seconds left in the game. Although, McDermott said, “ I didn’t think I made it at all,” his clutch shot helped bury Butler once again.
Austin Chatman finished the game with for straight Free throws to end the game. Doug McDermott led Creighton with 26 points.
Butler had a couple shots to take the lead in the final seconds, but their offensive strategy was stagnant. Kelly Dunham forced a bad three to tie the game before Chatman’s game clinching foul shots.
Adreian Payne led the Spartans with 20 points and 14 rebounds in their 15 point win. Michigan State is tied with Michigan atop the Big 10 with (10-2) records. Michigan State is still impressive without two of their starters in the lineup. However, Coach Izzo is holding out hope that Keith Appling and Branden Dawson will get back in the next few weeks.
Wisconsin 78- Minnesota 70

The Arizona Wildcats take their No. 2 ranking on the road to Arizona State for a Friday night bonanza. Arizona has a two game lead over UCLA in the PAC 12, while the Sun Devils are tied for third place. If Arizona State has any chance of winning the PAC 12 regular season, Friday’s game is a must win.
