The Arizona Wildcats clinched the PAC-12 title on Sunday with another magnificent performance. The 79-66 win over Stanford proved that Arizona is the class of the league.

Behind Aaron Gordon’s 19 points and 15 rebounds, you can’t help but believe this Wildcat team is just starting to peak. He led five players in double figures. Every game, Aaron Gordon is getting more comfortable, displaying his talent.

Even with Nick Johnson having an off shooting night, Arizona didn’t miss a beat. Their quality players at every position stepped up big time.

Indiana upsets Ohio State and smothers Aaron Craft.

Arizona has reverted back to their traditional lineup with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Gabe York coming off the bench. Both players combined for 20 of the 25 points by the replacements, and Hollis-Jefferson added three mesmerizing blocks to intimidate Stanford around the rim.

Stanford had a great opportunity to seal their NCAA tourney bid with a win, but early on, the task seemed to be a bit difficult. Arizona’s defense made the Cardinal play out of character.

Josh Huestis led Stanford with 22 points and 12 rebounds, but Dwight Powell wasn’t a factor at all.

Arizona is (27-2, 14-2) shot 43% from the field and hit a respectable 72% from the foul line. They have two road games left on the schedule before they hit the PAC-12 tournament.

Stanford dropped to (18-10, 9-7) and they could use the next two wins to secure a spot in the NCAA tourney.

Wichita State remains unbeaten with dominant performance.
