College anglers shoot to kill for 2014 Bassmaster Classic berth

Grand River in Muskegon, Michigan is going to be the busy fishing hotspot of the fall season, Toyota All-Star Week September 27-29. Four teams will go head-to-head in the Carhart Bassmaster College Classic Bracket for berth into the 2014 Bassmaster Classic at lake Guntersville..

Eight college anglers in eight bass boats

Auburn University at Montgomery, Young Harris College, Auburn University and Eastern Washington University. Teams one and four will fish against teams two and three.

Day one-round one, Eight college anglers will go out and only four of them will move on two round two and day two.

  • Tom Frink Auburn University of Montgomery versus Nick Barr Eastern Washington University.
  • Jacob Nummy Auburn University of Montgomery versus Jarred Walker Easter Washington University.
  • Brad Rutherford Young Harris College versus Jordan Lee of Auburn University.
  • Matthew Peeler Young Harris College versus Shane Powell Auburn University.

Day two-round two, Four anglers go out and two will come back to face off on day three.

Boat Launch 7:15 am at Fruitport Charter Township Public Launch.

Weigh-In 4pm at Heritage Landing 1050 7th Street Muskegon, MI 49440.
