Collective Ink exhibit open at Popcorn Gallery

See also

While the last of the snow is falling in the DC Metro, the Popcorn Gallery opened as scheduled featuring the “Collective Ink,” work by eight extraordinary printmakers. This show is historic in that it is the first time that these eight women artists have shown their work at this amazing Glen Echo venue. If you have never visited Glen Echo Park, you are in for a treat. Once inside the Popcorn Gallery you will see a range of work that is best illustrated by eight square panels, one for each artist.

Photography taken inside the gallery cannot hope to accurately represent the color and texture of the artist prints. You must see it firsthand. This is also an opportunity to start your own collection from work that is on sale at the gallery.

The reception opens Saturday February 22, 2014 from 3-5 p.m. at which you can meet the artists. The show runs from February 15 - March 16, 2014.
