Cole; the most inspirational three legged dog in Hawaii

Honolulu Pets Examiner
There is a sweet, loving dog at the Friends For Life Animal Shelter Oahu animal shelter. His name is Coal, named for his coal black coat. He is an inspiration to all the folks who think there is little to be grateful for.
Coal is a happy dog despite the fact that he was hit by a car crossing the highway and had to have his back leg amputated. His other back leg hangs limp as there is no feeling in the leg from his broken back. This limp leg is infected and without medical care he will be in big trouble. He needs an expensive surgery.
The shelter welcomes all donations or if there is a Veterinarian who will perform the surgery, Coal would be a happier and healthier dog. After the surgery he will need a wheeling type prosthesis so he can wheel the back half of his body around to his doggie water and food dish easier. He drags his leg around the shelter kennel in the dirt as is amazing to watch. He is paralyzed from the belly down but still manages to put on a cheerful face. He will be seen on local channel OC 16 in Hawaii, this Wednesday, April 29. See your TV guide for details. The exclusive video preview is at the link below.
