Consumers who would enjoy keeping organic vegetables on their menu, don’t forget about ColdWater Creek Farms CSA. Available throughout the Mecklenburg County and Cabarrus County area, joining means getting your share of fresh organic foods grown locally.

A Facebook communication from ColdWater Creek Farms included the following details:

Ok folks. 2013 CSA has started taking members. Send me your email I will send you a copy. Will post the copy later. In the greenhouse bumping up peppers, tomatoes, celery and eggplant right now.

A CSA is basically a program that delivers fresh organic local vegetables at drop off points in the greater Mecklenburg/Cabarrus area. It starts at the end of April. Let us know if you have any questions

While ColdWater Creek Farms is preparing for their 2013 Community Supported Agriculture program which will begin in April, some in the Charlotte area enjoying their organic produce now. Many are familiar with this group through the Atherton Market. Also, their organic produce is available at the Davidson Market in downtown Davidson
