On Apr. 17, the British rock band Coldplay announced headlining tour dates for the summer of 2014 on the band's official website. The worldwide "Ghost Stories" tour consists of six dates and begins on April 25 in Germany.
Coldplay's summer of 2014 "Ghost Stories" tour has two stops in the U.S., which are in the cities of New York, and Los Angeles. The tour also has stops in France, Japan, and London. Coldplay will be touring around the world this summer in support of their upcoming sixth studio album, Ghost Stories, which is set to be released in the U.S. on May 19 via Atlantic Records. It will be the first full length studio album the band has released since Mylo Xyloto in 2011.
Coldplay has released two singles from the new album: "Magic" and "Midnight." The band will further promote the album in the U.S. when they perform on NBC's late night sketch comedy show, "Saturday Night Live" on May 3.
