A cold air mass will continue to slide into the region today with lake effect snow across western areas. A series of fast moving clipper systems will impact the region into next week with occasional bouts of light snow or snow showers, especially Sunday and late Tuesday. It will remain chilly through the week with slightly below average temperatures.

Today – Mostly cloudy and breezy with a chance of flurries or snow showers this morning, then mostly cloudy with a few breaks of sun this afternoon. High 24-28. Winds west between 15 and 20 mph, gusting up to 30 mph. Chance of snow 30 percent.

Tonight – Mostly cloudy this evening, then becoming mostly clear after midnight. Low 11-15. Winds northwest between 10 and 15 mph, gusting up to 30 mph.
Saturday – Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of snow showers in the afternoon. High 23-27. Winds southwest between 10 and 15 mph. Chance of snow 20 percent.
Saturday Night – Cloudy with a chance of snow showers. Low 16-20. Winds west between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of snow 30 percent.
