The brief warmth the Clarksville area saw to end the weekend has moved out of the area as temperatures today will be back below average. Even with mostly sunny skies expected, today's high is only going to be in the middle thirties. Clarksville will notice the cold tonight though as overnight lows are expected to drop into the lower teens. The cold continues through the day tomorrow as highs will struggle to reach the upper twenties with overnight lows once again in the teens. A weak system will begin to move through the region Thursday bringing temperatures back up to near average, but it will also bring precipitation back into the picture. Currently most of the precipitation is expected to fall as a cold rain, but the rain may mix with snow at the beginning on Wednesday evening, and then as it passes through on Friday.
